5382 father of the spouse

[LEFT]dont know if any of you saw this terrible attempt at corrupting the sacred italian way of life but ever since it was shown there has been a big debate here....

what was it all about ... in essence the spouse part involved an italian woman getting married to a spanish woman in spain........

it seems like the kiss between them has upset half the politicians and most of the church here and that even though it went out after 9.00 pm it has scandalised that part of the world here that only supports.... "normality"...quote.. this is against nature..

i find it hard to believe how much discussion this quite innocuos telefilm has produced... ... and how basically a different view of family life can be seen as something so terrible that instead of being put out in two parts here it was shown in one episode because there is general agreement that if the RAI had shown it in there normal way over two nights the second part would have never been allowed to be shown.....

cannot remeber the name of the principle actor...skips my brain cells at the moment...hes the one that does doctor in the family ... as well ... hes a sort of grandad figure here...and he wrote and produced this film with his daughter... in fact i never did like him that much before...however now he has gained a bit of respect in my eyes...am sure someone will provide his name[/LEFT]
