7301 car hire cos in Ancona downtown that open on Sundays?

Does anyone know of a hire car co that has an office open at Ancona station (or even better Porto San Giorgio or Porto Recanati) on Sundays? I am hoping to take the train to Venice and at the moment it looks like we can only return our car to the airport. No one seems to even offer a drop off key box at the station.
On Sundays there is no train service from the airport to Ancona rail station and the buses do not start till 1000 arriving 1020 which is when our train departs.
I suspect getting a taxi back to town is our only answer but would be grateful if anyone has any better ideas. I just hope a cab is a/ not very expensive and b/ available on a Sunday at 9 a.m. ish.
