Ciao, like 'millions' of others

Ciao, like 'millions' of others I am dreaming of living in Italy  Did spend 16 months (2015/2016) in Ireland and visited Italy.  We returned to Australia in 2016 but still dream of Italy.  We are retired.  Question now is: how is Brexit affecting property prices and with the threat of terrorism and illegals flooding into the country how is this reflecting on life in Italy?  Thank you, Irene
