Like a famous scene in a Rambo movie, an Italian man said he vented his anger and frustration by shooting up shops and petrol stations around his home town.
Armed with a series of rifles, the 43-year-old truckdriver recently strafed a number of garages as well as a car showroom, a photographer's studio, an insurance office, a toy shop and the local headquarters of a Communist party.
Police put an end to his spree Sunday night as he was poised to spray bullets into another service station here.
He was found with a pump-action shotgun in the back of his truck and another two rifles at home.
Asked why he was using his firearms for such apparently random vandalism, the man reportedly claimed: ''I suffer from depression. It's the only way I can relieve it''.
