The Ligurian town where Frank Sinatra's mother was born will celebrate The Voice's Italian connections this weekend.
Natalina Garaventa, better known as Dolly, hailed from Lumarzo, near Genoa, and emigrated to Hoboken, New Jersey where she married Sinatra's father Martin.
Martin Sinatra's hometown of Lercara Friddi, near Palermo, will join celebrations by presenting Lumarzo with the original copy of Dolly Garaventa's birth certificate.
Dolly worked as a midwife and was an influential member of the Hoboken Democratic party well before her son shot to fame.
Frank was an only child.
The tribute will include a concert with several singers presenting their versions of Sinatra classics, including My Way.
