New attempt to set underwater kissing record

A new attempt will be made this week to set a new record for kissing under water and among those taking part in the endeavour is Italian free-diving champion Manuela Acco.
The event will take place Wednesday in the waters off the LiguRian costal town of Zoagli, near the resort of Portofino.
It has been organized by the National Apnea School and aside from Acco and her companion, Fabio Ferioli, it will be open to any couples who wish to take part, including same-sex ones.
Participants will do their kissing at a depth of between a meter and a half and two meters.
The current record for kissing underwater is two minutes 26 seconds.
