Overlooking the largest private garden in Europe, with the fragrance of flowers and plants and a blissful quiet in the air, AdAstra is the Hôtel Particulier of Florence. The result of a collaboration between the architect Francesco Maestrelli and Marco and Matteo Perduca, it is home to seven rooms on the main first floor of the villa, and two immersed in the Torrigiani garden in Oltrarno – the most real and authentic Florentine district. Palaces, squares, bridges, museums, churches, theatres, cinemas and shops are all at a walking distance from the residence.

Deluxe Room
All furnished in different styles, they have pieces of Italian design of the 50s, 60s and 70s. On the bookshelves novels, essays, articles and books fruit of travel to near and far away lands. On the walls original works, surprises and suggestion to and by contemporary artists. The lighting is produced specifically by Florentine artisans located in the neighborhood. The bathtub is in full view and is part of the decor of the room. Superior Room
With pastel colors and brass lights specially designed by a workshop in Florence, it is decorated in silver, gold, glass with scarves from the 1950s of the most famous fashion house of Florence. The marble bathroom has two showers, the baththub is visible in the room. Premium Room
Two rooms immersed in the green of the garden in the Angiolino depandance. The colors are inspired by those of the city as well as by green that hosts them. The pieces of furniture and the paintings are from around the world, including San Frediano. Both have an outdoor area with everything needed to fully enjoy the surrounding landscape. Description
AdAstra occupies the first floor of the ancestral family mansion, where the main rooms and the splendid salon are surrounded by a magnificent terrace of 270 square metres overlooking the garden. The other rooms line the picturesque Via del Campuccio or are immersed in the green of the annex of the Angiolino. Every room has a different look and feel, each personalised in its own way. The furnishings throughout combine original Italian design pieces from the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s with touches of Florentine tradition flavoured with elements from distant travels, lighting and objects produced by local artisans and craftsmen, alongside a sprinkling of Anglo-American pop. All bedrooms have a roll top baht to complete the individual experience.
Concierge services are open from 8am to 8pm. The outdoor spaces on the terrace are also available for breakfast and aperitifs.
