To be honest, any day you are in Venice is a good day. But there is something so much more valuable about sticking around and experiencing the city when the day-trippers leave on the last train from La Spezia. There are over 10 museums to browse through, and the ongoing biennale showcasing contemporary art from all over the world. The 72nd film festival, currently on until the 12th, is certain to bring about many famous faces around the grand canal, there has never been a better year to visit.
