Description
What’s it all about?
Cinque Terre is one of the most amazing and enchanting landscapes in the world. Five villages, hanging in balance between land and sea. A little breath of paradise right in the North of Italy. Simply a stroll from one town to another has been known to literally leave travellers breathless.
You can hop on and off the 19th-century tram to visit the fishing villages and enjoy the local restaurants with their unique coastal cuisine. Sample local delicacies and take amazing photos that will leave all your friends and family at home in awe!
Start to discover the five villages!
Try starting in Riomaggiore. Famous for its 13th-century character and local wine, the town has unique architecture with narrow cobble alleyways and sheltered paths.
Then, head to Manarola via the “Via dell’Amore” the ‘Path of Love’, a genuinely moving and romantic walk where rocks crash into the sea as you stroll above them. The small port town is filled with picturesque buildings clinging to the ravine.
Continue to Monterosso, an ancient fishing village considered “The Pearl of the Cinque Terre”, where you will be awed by its enchanting beaches and the lush vegetation surrounding them. Don’t forget to bring your swimwear because here you’ll want to plunge into the crystal sea and sunbathe before heading to Vernazza, a beautifully quaint town right on the water.
On a trip to Cinque Terre you can expect vibrant and colorful boat rides, unforgettably elegant villages, and beautiful hikes through some of the most flora and fauna in Italy.
