(ANSA) - Over 100,000 passengers passed through the Fiumicino and Ciampino airports in Rome on August 21, 2005, it was reported on August 22, 2005.
According to the estimates of the airports operator Aeroporti di Roma (AdR) some 700 planes arrived and departed from the airports of the city.
Most of the arriving planes came back from Barcelona, Madrid, Bucharest, Vienna, Copenhagen, the Red Sea.
Full charter flights arrived also from Sharm El Sheikh, Hurghada, Djerba, Marsa Alam, Cancun, Valencia, Palma de Mallorca and the Italian islands, AdR said.
