Adriano misses another plane

Inter Milan's Brazil striker Adriano missed a plane back to Italy Thursday and will be a no-show for Friday's final training session ahead of the Serie A leaders's visit to Udinese Sunday.

Club sources said the powerful Brazilian would probably miss the game against the 13th-placed side.

Adriano has been back in the Inter side having apparently overcome lifestyle and disciplinary problems and is currently mulling whether to seek a contract extension or consider a long-rumoured move to Chelsea in a swap for Didier Drogba.

Brazil and Inter goalie Julio Cesar made the flight, scheduled to take the pair back after Brazil's World Cup qualifying 1-1 draw in Ecuador on Sunday.

Adriano, 27, also missed his plane back after Inter's midwinter break in January.

Inter lead Serie A by seven points from Juventus but have lost influential Brazil right back Maicon for the nine-game run-in.

Adriano featured in Inter's losing Champions League last 16 clash against Manchester United but has not played in the last three games as coach Jose' Mourinho has preferred other partners for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
