Italian singer Andrea Bocelli’s CD and DVD compilation ‘Love In Portofino’ will be released on 22 October 2013.
The new two-disc compilation highlights Bocelli’s breathtaking performance in Portofino, Italy on 11 August 2012 and includes songs from the legendary tenor’s January 2013 release ‘Passione’.
Fans can see and hear Bocelli deliver a performance of a lifetime from the beautiful surroundings of the Piazzetta in Portofino on the Italian Riviera. Playing to an intimate crowd at sunset, Bocelli sings famous love songs accompanied by 16-time Grammy Award winner David Foster and the 40-piece Ensemble Symphony Orchestra conducted by Giacomo Loprieno. Bocelli sings in Italian, English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Neapolitan dialect.
The CD includes live recordings of ‘Love In Portofino’, ‘Il Nostro Incontro featuring Chris Botti’, ‘Qualche Stupido Ti Amo (Somethin’ Stupid) duet with Veronica Berti’, ‘Anema E Core’ and ‘Corcovado, Quiet Nights Of Quiet Stars duet with Sandy’. Among performances featured on the DVD are: ‘Il Nostro Incontro featuring Chris Botti’, ‘Champagne’ and the ‘Quizás, Quizás, Quizás duet with Caroline Campbell’.
Portofino is an elegant resort known for its picturesque harbour. It has been frequented by many famous names including Lauren Bacall, Humphrey Bogart, Ava Gardner, Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor.
