Andrea Bocelli was the guest of honor at last Saturday’s episode of Ballando con le stelle – Dancing with the stars, Italy edition, broadacast on Italy's Rai tv.
The Italian tenor charmed viewers with his rumba performance with dancer Nancy Berti. Bocelli said he is not good at dancing (“my father used to tell me I wasn’t able to hear the beat”), but he still achieved a score of 10 from all jury members.
He also talked about his foundation: “I met Pope Francis, who conquers everybody with his smile. I told him about my foundation dedicated to the fight against poverty and to promoting education to improve lives.”
He then sang Something Stupid, a song featured in his latest album, Love in Portofino, with his wife Veronica Berti.
