Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon on Friday defended the Azzurri after their historic 1-0 defeat to Egypt in the Confederations Cup.
''We knew that this Confederations (Cup) is a test to get ready for the World Cup. There's no point slamming the coach and team. If things don't go well (Marcello) Lippi will have the courage to change,'' he said.
