Chiara Galiazzo won the sixth season of ‘The X-Factor Italia”. The 26th year old from Padua, wowed the judges singing "Teardrop" by Massive Attack at her very first audition, then continued to impress them and conquered the public with amazing performances during the whole competition. Majestically singing a varied and interesting repertoire of songs, inlcuding Somewhere over the Rainbow, The Final Countdown and Alabama Song, she flew to victory with a song that international Italian star Eros Ramazzotti wrote for her, Due Respiri.
Mika has described Chiara as "a superstar" following their duet on last night's live final in Stardust.
She is currently outselling other Xfactor contestants but also other established artists on iTunes. One of the most downloaded songs is her version of “I Was Made For Lovin’ You” by Kiss. Even the American rock band was so impressed about her version of their song that a video of her performance was added on their FB page.
Congratulations Chiara!
