Six floors of glass, steel and wood make up Italy’s newest science museum, the Museo delle Scienze (MUSE), located in Trento.
Designed by architect Renzo Piano to follow the shape of the mountains that surround it, the museum was recently “climbed” by Maurizio Zanolla, an Italian professional climber known as Manolo.
In the same way as climbing a mountain, he slowly crawled up the “Great Void”, the central space of the museum, surrounded by eagles, rabbits, waterfalls and vegetation.
As if that weren’t enough, Manolo also climbed the exterior glass walls of the building that host the tropical greenhouse.
