An Italian amateur league soccer coach got a five-year ban Thursday for pushing a referee over and kicking him in the groin.
Giovanni Grassa, coach of the Seconda Categoria Tuscan league outfit Vada, ran onto the field during a game against Rio Marina on Sunday, ''pushed the referee in the face until he fell over, freed himself from restraining companions and kicked the match official in the genitals,'' a citation read.
