This weekend 780 cultural sites throughout Italy will be open to the public for free, in celebration of FAI Spring Days (21-22 March).
FAI stands for Fondo per l’Ambiente Italiano (Italian Environment Fund), an organization that helps preserve and maintain Italy’s national heritage and cultural assets. The locations, many of which are generally closed to the public, include public parks, monuments, churches, palaces, castles, villas and gardens.
