Inter Milan has the Serie A title in the bag, AC Milan coach Adriano Galliani said Thursday.
Inter is certain to notch ''more than eight points'' in the last five games, he said.
Milan is seven points behind.
Carlo Ancelotti, who has been repeatedly linked with Chelsea, is favourite to stay Milan coach next year, he added.
On Wednesday club owner Silvio Berlusconi said Ancelotti's future would be settled at the end of the season and an ''emerging'' coach would come in if Ancelotti left.
This sparked speculation about Cagliari coach Massimiliano Allegri, Genoa coach Gian Piero Gasperini and Milan technical director Leonardo.
Asked which of the three was ''leading'' in a hypothetical race to be coach next year, Galliani replied Thursday: ''Ancelotti''.
''We're having dinner with Ancelotti tonight, with whom there's a wonderful relationship in good or bad times,'' the CEO said.
Britain's Daily Mirror on Thursday claimed Ancelotti was ''even closer'' to Chelsea and reported the coach had been taking English lessons for a year.
