We all love a good Italian caffè (coffee) when visiting Italy, but if you fancied a tea (and tea is more popular among Italians than you many think!) you could ask for:
Un tè per favore or Una tazza di tè per favore
In Italy it’s common to have tea with a slice of lemon, so you’ll usually be asked:
Con limone?
If you prefer it with milk, then you would say:
Con latte
Herbal teas are also often available, for example, if you had had enough caffeine for the day, you could order:
Un tè alla menta
Una camomilla
Una tisana
