Flash News - Italy has come 14th in the latest poll of the best places to live in terms of environmental standards and green living.
Finland led the 141 countries, followed by Iceland, Norway, Sweden and Austria.
Italy was just above Slovenia and France and just behind Japan and Israel in the survey, commissioned by Reader's Digest.
African nations bagged the bottom slots while the United States was 23rd, Britain 25th and China 84th.
