Blondes have descended upon Milan and beer lovers couldn’t be more pleased.
The Italy Beer Festival that celebrates blonde (light) brews starts today in Milan and runs through March 6. The beer-tasting event is dedicated to the world of craft micro-breweries and promises over 100 beers from 30 different producers.
Also on the program are various workshops to explore beer/food pairings and teach attendees about the differences between artisan beer and homemade brews.
As if delicious pints weren’t tempting enough, culinary treats from all over Italy will be available. When it’s time to take a break from beer, visitors will be able to sample salami, cheese, and chocolate from Modica.
Already in its sixth year in Milan, the beer festival will move to Rome for the third annual tasting event on April 15 -17.
