Italy will play its June 6 Confederations Cup warm-up friendly against Northern Ireland in Pisa, the Italian Soccer Federation said Thursday.
The venue was officially announced after FIGC chief Giancarlo Abete phoned Pisa Mayor Marco Filippeschi.
Earlier in the day FIGC inspected Pisa's stadium.
The Confederations Cup runs from June 14-28 in South Africa, host of next year's World Cup.
Italy is top of its World Cup qualifying group, two points ahead of Ireland.
