AC Milan's Brazil forward Ricardo Kaka shrugged off reports from Spain on Thursday that he was set to join Real Madrid, saying he was happy playing at the San Siro stadium.
''I've always said that I'm happy at Milan,'' said the 27-year-old former World Player and European Player of the Year.
Kaka said he was totally focused on ensuring that Milan secure direct access to the Champions League in their last match of the season in Serie A on Sunday.
Milan had a solid hold on second place before last Sunday's home match, slipping to third place behind Juventus.
The outcome of this weekend's match against Fiorentina will determine whether Milan or the Florence side will automatically qualify for the Champions League.
''It's a very special week, very delicate. We're going through a rough patch but want to make sure we get into the Champions League,'' Kaka told reporters in Milan.
Spanish sports daily AS said on Thursday that Real's president-in-waiting Florentino Perez would announce Kaka's arrival next week.
According to the daily, Milan would reportedly release the striker if they can convince French midfielder Yoann Gourcuff to return to the club from his loan spell at Bordeaux.
AS says the deal with Real would bring Milan 65 million euros.
But AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani bluntly dismissed the report, telling reporters: ''give me a break, I've been saying the same thing for the last two months,'' referring to rumours of the Brazilian's move to Real.
He also laughed off reports that Premier League side Chelsea was keen on Milan midfielder Andrea Pirlo.
''It means our players are good...last night(at the Champions Cup final in Rome) I hugged (Chelsea owner Roman) Abramovich twice, we've got a very friendly relationship''.
Kaka had Milan fans holding their breath around Christmas after a mega-bid from Manchester City but eventually turned it down.
The player - a devout Christian - turned down a reported 100 million euro bid, saying he had prayed to God for guidance and in the end been ''led by my heart''.
