From 7 to 15 May, foodies will flock to Milan for a delectable culinary experience. While many treats are sinfully delicious, the focus of the expo is on eating well while eating healthy.
Milano Food Week is a series of events that revolve around all things gastronomic: The Most Tasteful Week in the World. From tastings to free cooking classes and special menus, markets and restaurants throughout the city are involved.
The gastronomic week will also feature food-inspired art exhibits and boasts a historic tour of Made in Italy food brands. There is a special focus this year on the influence of food bloggers in the culinary culture and many web-celebs will be in attendance.
The last event of the week-long food festival is a pic-nic in Milan’s famed lawns of Parco Sempione.
Most of the events are free and open to the public. For more information about how to take part, visit the Milano Food Week website (in Italian) or Milan’s official tourism page (in English).
