(ANSA) - Foligno - A priest in this Umbrian town announced his own wedding to shake parishioners out of their summer torpor.
"It was all a joke. I told the bishop and we had a laugh about it," said Don Gianfranco Sebastiani after publishing banns and telling townsfolk where they could get him presents. In his marriage announcement, the jolly prelate said he would be "happy to present the lucky lady" at his wedding service.
