AltaRoma is Rome’s own Fashion week, when fashion houses from Italy and abroad gather in the capital to show off their creations.
The event takes place twice a year, in January and July. Coming up is the winter edition of AltaRoma, which this year runs January 25-27, reduced to three days instead of a full week due to budget cuts.
Among the designers who will present their collections are Sarli, Gattinoni, Curiel and Crossbow, with a new entry to watch for, the Roman-born Raffaella Frasca, who debuted a year ago and is already a favorite in the Russian and Brazilian markets.
The location of the catwalks will once again be the complex of Santo Spirito in Sassi, a 12th century church located in Borgo Santo Spirito.
