Structure is sure-fire advertisement for the area - Every year between 300,000 and 400,000 people - professionals and fans alike - crowd the track in Mugello di Scarperia (Florence).

The sports complex was purchased by Ferrari in 1988 after a series of management difficulties. Ferrari has been dedicated to repositioning the track through several significant investments.

The track's reputation - according to a spokesperson - is key to bringing tourists into the area. The circuit's 150,000 annual tourists include fans attending the Italian trials before World Motor Races, as well as aficionados that come to watch Ferrari's test drives or other championship races (both car and motorcycle).

An average of 60-70,000 motorcyclists use the track for test runs each year. The complex hosts sporting events (trials, driving school courses, events, etc.) 300 days per year, while competitive sporting events occupy between ten and fifteen weekends per year.

Media coverage at the facilities is quite high. The Grand Prix Mugello boasted 8.6 million television spectators (50% of the share), while the DTM - the German World Touring Car Championship was the most watched in Germany with over 2 million viewers. According to an estimate by financial newspaper, Il Sole 24 Ore, the MotoGP generated over 25 million euro in revenue in 2005.
