Italian cities are having to deal with a 24 hour strike of buses and trains, supported by all the main unions. The strikes have been called after failure to reach an agreement on cuts to salary while workers are on sick-leave. The operating companies are proposing a 33% cut of salary while on sick-leave.
The main disruptions are as follows:
- Rome: From 0830 to 1700 and from 2000 until end of service
- Milano: from 0845 to 1500 and from 1800 until end of service
- Napoli: from 0830 until 1700 and from 2000 until end of service
