The dress that Kate Middleton will wear to marry Prince William has been the subject of speculation for months. Fashion lovers and designers from all over the world have put forth their best guesses for what Kate will choose to wear on her wedding day.
Renowned Italian designer Valentino has gotten in the game by proposing his own take on the royal wedding gown. Valentino’s design features soft ruffles and intricate beading. The delicate, feminine gown also includes an important requirement- sleeves. The bride-to-be must be demurely covered when she enters Westminster Abbey.
The gown will be revealed when the pair weds on 29 April, and it will be interesting to see how close the Italian designer has come to predicting Kate Middleton's ideal wedding dress.
Unfortunately, the British Monarchy will probably insist on a dress “Made in England,” losing out on exquisite Italian designs such as Valentino’s abito da sposa.
