Connoisseurs of past fashions are gathering in Florence now through to the 8th of July 2011 for the 18th edition of Vintage Selection. One of the most prestigious markets for vintage clothing in Europe, the event draws 40 sellers and nearly 13,000 guests.
The 2011 event features a cinematic theme and vintage-lovers will be treated to cult-classics and a drive-in movie style setting in the piazza outside the exhibition hall.
While trendy shoppers sift through clothing, accessories and re-created customized fashions, the mood will set through Radio Italia Anni ‘60, a radio station dedicated to 60s music.
After a long day of retro shopping, visitors are welcome to don their best vintage-inspired outfit and head to the happy hour lounge for photos, concerts and cocktails.
