In an interesting “twist of nationalities” on The X Factor, an Italian man is charming audiences and judges on the UK edition of the talent show, while a Scottish woman is conquering the Italian public on X Factor Italia.
Twenty-year-old Andrea Faustini from Rome has quickly become a favorite of The X Factor UK. He is being coached by Mel B of the Spice Girls, which he loves. “When I met Mel B for the first time in my Room Audition, Oh My God. I was so happy, I was freaking out. I love her voice, everything about her.”
Twenty-eight-year-old Emma Morton was born in Scotland and has lived in Italy for five years. Her mentor on the 8th edition of X Factor Italia is Lebanese-British singer Mika, the first international mentor and judge to feature on the Italian edition of the TV program.
Andrea auditioned for The X Factor four times in Italy before trying and being accepted on the UK edition. Watch the video from his audition below:
