This question was asked back in 2020 but I don't believe an appropriate answer was given.

Does Italy allow property purchase by Self Managed Super Fund (SMSF)? No finance would be required for the purchase.

I have read online, 'In several countries, a foreign entity such as an SMSF cannot hold property directly', but cannot find out if Italy is on that list.
