I have friends coming to Rome to visit

I have friends coming to Rome to visit us for 2 months. They want somewhere to stay that isnt an expensive vacation rental apartment. Traditional Italian Agencies charge too much or they just don't offer 2 month stays. Any ideas where I can find them a nice apartment in the centre for a medium term period of 2 months?
