Should be no problem to bring one from the the UK, just change the plug to an Italian one. Make sure you have a high enough power supply to the house though, as the rating is probably higher than the normal for here.

Thank you Badger & Hazy , that's a great help ! I've looked up the voltage for UK & Italy and one website says Italy is 220v, another says it's 230v so I will have to check. The UK is 240v, so do you know if this difference would be ok ? Would it cause the electrics to keep tripping if it's only 220v in Italy ? Thanks for any answers again !

Voltage is no problem in either case. It is the wattage that you need to be looking at on the unit. If it draws up to say 2500w and you only have the minimum 3000w + 10%, then you would have to be carefull what else you operate at the same time as that unit is working
