Lucy McCabe is based in Florence, where she is working on a PhD in Italian and Irish poetry through the lens of island ecologies. A frequent film reviewer for Totally Dublin, she holds a master’s degree in film studies from Trinity College Dublin and has worked as a podcast producer for Irish Film London. When not covering film for Irish media, she writes poetry and screenplays, often about Italy or in Italian.
