Joseph is currently a graduate student at the University of Cambridge, studying post-colonial Italian literature. A proud Italian citizen of Molisan origin, he loves reminding people that Italian studies is not just fascism and Dante. An avid linguist, he speaks Italian, French, Spanish, and Portuguese fluently and dreams of one day mastering Finnish. In his free time, when not trying to talk to strangers about the history of Italy’s colonial presence in Africa, he travels frequently and practices Scottish reeling.
