I moved to Italy in 1994 with my husband Alan and pets. We lived in Umbria near Lake Trasimeno and then in 2006 moved to the Casentino in Tuscany where we live with our two dogs and three cats.

I was a teacher trainer at a large language school in the UK before moving to Italy where we continued to teach English and run training courses for Italian teachers. I wrote several course books for English as Foreign language as well as a non fiction children's book about Italy. I came up with the idea for and was editor of Italy magazine from 2001 - 2006. I now work as a ghostwriter and am also busy promoting my website to help homeless animals in Italy.
