Yes it may be Java, but I've just downloaded the latest, and it hasn't made a bit of difference. Interestingly, that was on internet explorer, and the problem started when an automatic update seems to have installed ie10. I'm speaking to you now through Chrome, with no apparent difficulty.

If yoiur were using Firefox or IE then they have ahd a lot of problems recently.
