Obviously given the value of these things they wont hire them to anybody.  Do you have experience with them, licence, certificate - that sort of thing.     Usually you hire them with an operator, which obviously pushes the price up hugely.

There will be a hiring company - look up noleggi edili or something like that on Google and see what there is.     Try this lot to start with:  https://www.giffinoleggi.com/it/noleggio-miniescavatori-e-minipale-bobc…

And think about taking out supplementary insurance too.

Yes I done a fair bit of research and the mini diggers are quite expensive to hire...I do have a fair bit of renovation and ground work to and now thinking very seriously about buying a brand new one in from China...( a very good quality 2 ton digger with auger and thumb are $11,000 ) very reasonable and gives me the potential to rent out locally

ATTENTION !! Before logging and earthmoving in Italy, you need to obtain the necessary permits, from the municipality, state forestry agency and region - if you haven't obtained them and start the work, you could also be associated with state prison sentences for illegal and illegal building ..

Thank you guys...found out it costs around 1500 Euro p week with attachments and delivery / collection...don,t need any specific paperwork to use one of these , perhaps yes with the bigger ones....but for  a 2 ton digger no...

You can search online, check directories, or ask for recommendations from locals or other businesses in the area. This will help you find companies that offer the equipment you need.

  2. Request quotes: Contact several tool hire companies and request quotes for hiring a 2-ton mini digger/excavator for two months.
