The 27th edition of the Ferrara Buskers Festival, the biggest event in the world dedicated to street art, is currently under way in Ferrara.
Founded in 1988 with the goal of promoting the role of the “busker”, street musician, it has reached an average of 800,000 spectators who flock to this UNESCO city on the banks of the Po river.
1,200 artists, 304 groups coming from 46 different nations are expected. They do not receive any compensation, except for what the public decides to give them.
