Lazise is a town in the Province of Verona in the Italian region Veneto. It is situated on the eastern shore of Lake Garda. Lazise borders the following municipalities: Bardolino, Bussolengo, Castelnuovo del Garda, Padenghe sul Garda, Pastrengo, Peschiera del Garda and Sirmione. The city is a popular holiday destination in Southern Europe. It attracts myriad tourists from the immediate area owing to its beautiful view of the Alps from the southern shore of Lake Garda. At the heart of the city is a series of interconnected squares with open-air cafés, various shops, gelaterie (ice-cream parlours), and bars.
