Atri (Abruzzo)
Atri is a town in the Province of Teramo, in the Abruzzo region of Italy.
It is the setting of the poem "The Bell of Atri" by American writer Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. Its name is the origin of the name of the Emperor Hadrian.
The town contains many places of interest such as the Cathedral, dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, the Palace of the Duke of Acquaviva, Medieval Walls and Gates.
