There are very few beaches in Abruzzo where dogs are officially allowed. La Playa and La Prora Beach village 41 in Pescara are the nearest to Francavilla. There are free beaches for cats and dogs in Pineto and Giulianova. I sometimes take my dog to the free beach in Fossacesia.
